Annual client spend and why it is so important

If you log into your business health check report on Profitdiagnostix, you will now see annual client spend as a TREND.

This is because we have established that this is a very useful KPI to monitor business performance and detect business problems.

Businesses with low average client spend are likely to have low service promotion and poor billing practices. it is a much more accurate indicator than average invoice value because it it not influenced by sales of cheaper over the counter products, nor is it influenced by staff ‘splitting’ large invoices into smaller invoices.

We have also added an ‘intelligent’ comment near this report that tells you how much this value should be for you to achieve your revenue targets. We also comment on what the average value for your region is.
